Also known as Autoimmune Polyendocrinopathy-Candidiasis-Ectodermal Dystrophy (APECED), Autoimmune Polyglandular Syndrome, Type I)
This disorder causes hypoparathyroidism, adrenal insufficiency in the form of Addison Disease, and chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis. Other autoimmune conditions can be present as well.
